Message	So, I have gone through a lot of my AC, first charging it up with R12 after an engine rebuild only to find that two weeks later it was low on refrigerant due to leak front shaft seal in the compressor. I take the AC compressor to Air Parts in Ocala, FL and they exchange it out for another DKS16 unit that is rebuild with fresh seals. During that time I replace the expansion valve and every seal in the system because I had to pull the heater core out cause it was leaking too, fun job by the way. I also swap out the AC condensor for a 93+ (R134a unit) for the higher fin density because in FL you want all the AC cooling you can get. So my goal was the higher fin density and still run R12 in the system because some mid year 93's came from the factory this way, so some of you have seen this image I took during the swap out. So got everything back together with the new to me condenser, freshly rebuilt compressor, new dryer unit and fresh viton seals everywhere. So I vacuumed the system down and it held exactly where I left it overnight and I charged the system up and I could see it on the low side suck down to 10psi and it was pushing out in the low 50's high 40's at times. After maybe 2000 miles I notice it isn't cooling well now that the temps outside are rising, I check the low side again and it doesnt really go below 40psi. The discharge temp in traffic now won't really move much outside the range of 68-72F, at night it goes in the low 50's again. My main question is the compressor just bad and not a good unit or does the new condensor really make that much of a difference when working with R12? Also, is there something I am missing here that would make my system not really function well here like it should?
